            Use and precautions:

           The main maintenance of the automobile engine radiator is to clean the deposits of scale in the pipeline, the blockage of the heat sink and the heat sink, the crack of the heat spreader, and the desoldering or water leakage:

           1. Clean the appearance of the radiator: first, rinse the radiator core with water to remove the dust on its surface. If there is any oil stain, it should be washed with a car; then check the upper and lower water chambers and the core of the radiator from the outside, there should be no leakage, and the radiator frame There should be no breakage and de-soldering; the gasket between the radiator cover and the radiator water pipe should be replaced if damaged; if the engine water outlet pipe is found to be deflated during vehicle use, it means that the intake valve of the radiator cover is damaged. The radiator cap should be serviced or replaced.

           2. Cleaning the radiator: In fact, the radiator must be cleaned when the engine is overhauled to remove the scale in the radiator; first remove the thermostat, add special cleaning agent and water to the cooling system, and run the engine for 20 minutes; After cooling, drain the water and cleaning agent, and then direct the water flow from the hose to the radiator to wash out the loose scale. There is also a backflush, where the water is under pressure to flush the radiator in the opposite direction of the normal flow.

           3. Check the leakage of the radiator: After the radiator is externally cleaned and the scale is removed, a water pressure test is carried out to check whether there is water leakage.

           4. Repair of radiator damage: Check the leakage of the upper and lower water chambers and the outer radiator pipe and repair it by soldering; when the leakage is large, it can be repaired by soldering after the copper skin is tinned. If the water pipe is leaking, the outer heat sink can be cut off and repaired directly with a sharp soldering iron; when the damage is serious, individual water pipes are allowed to be flattened, welded to death and continue to be used or replaced with new water pipes.

           Generally, the number of replacement radiator heat pipes should be no more than 25%, and the number of heat pipes for plug welding should be no more than 3. If this limit is exceeded, the radiator should be replaced.

           5. After the radiator is repaired, the tightness test should be carried out again. After pressurizing according to the specified pressure, no leakage is allowed within 1 minute; the radiator with multiple leaks should be replaced; the radiator with a few leaks should be replaced. , should be repaired by welding or repaired with radiator plugging agent. In addition, it is also necessary to check whether the connecting pipe of the compensation radiator has air leakage or blockage. If it is found that there is air leakage or blockage, it should be eliminated to prevent the cooling liquid of the compensation radiator from returning to the radiator.
